Hollywood — Angelina Jolie has confirmed casting reports linking her to the role of Sleeping Beauty villainness Maleficent in a new fairytale movie.
The actress revealed she'll be a bad girl in her next movie at the
Berlin International Film Festival in Germany, where she's promoting her
directorial debut In the Land of Blood and Honey.
Jolie told The Hollywood Reporter, "I haven't acted in two years... The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie."
It appears it's quite trendy to play a fairytale villain among
Hollywood's leading ladies - both Charlize Theron and Julia Roberts play
the evil queen in reimaginings of the Snow White fable. Both films are
scheduled to hit cinemas later this year.
